Plans announced for Wrighthaven Square Apartments

HENRICO CO., VA., November 1, 2023 – Gumenick Properties has announced plans to continue multi-family development in the growing Libbie Mill – Midtown community.

Wrighthaven Square Apartments is a planned 336-home, garden-style apartment community, consisting of 15 three and four- story residential buildings and a clubhouse amenity building with a resort style outdoor pool. Apartment homes will range in size from 1-bedrooms through 3-bedrooms, featuring the latest in modern finishes, as well as architecture and design consistent with the surrounding community. Buildings will be situated adjacent to surface parking areas, and residents will be able to enjoy the free parking, walkability, community events and retail offerings that have become the hallmark of Libbie Mill - Midtown.  Based on current planning, Gumenick Properties intends to begin construction for Wrighthaven Square in 2024.

Construction and delivery of Wrighthaven Square is expected to precede the previously announced Harp’s Landing Apartments, for which land development is scheduled to conclude in the coming months. This reprioritization of these final two apartment communities will allow Gumenick Properties to continue making improvements along Libbie Avenue, while completing development of residential for sale and condominium rental units in western edge of the community in the near term.

This exciting announcement comes on the heels of another dynamic year in which ACACIA midtown, Annalise Bridal, Blue Ridge Cyclery and Brass Tap Craft Beer Bar opened their doors, and the community maintained its commitment to promoting community involvement through events and partnerships with local and regional non-profit organizations such as Safe Harbor, American Cancer Society, and the Greater Richmond Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Libbie Mill - Midtown continues to experience strong demand for the high-quality commercial retail space with approximately 7,800 square feet remaining available of the nearly 200,000 square feet in the community.
